A species of reptiles and D'amphibia sure five risk of disappearing from metropolitan France according to the Red List of cash threatened.
A study conducted by the World Conservation Union and the National Museum of Natural History shows that 7 cash of reptiles sure 37 and 7 cash amphibians out of 34 are currently threatened on the metropolitan territory.
These cash are indicators of the state of health of many of our environments natural. Without effective action, these numbers could double in the years to come.

urbanization and some construction of road and rail infrastructures for the tortoise Hermann.
Competition with introduced alien species, such as Tortoise from Florida or the Frog bull, represents a threat to cash native species such as the European pond turtle and cash of frogs green.
