5 tips to clean the sex of your baby

Sweetness above all things
Your baby is very fragile during his first months so do not rush him when changing. Install it comfortably on a thick and clean towel, talk to reassure him and especially do not rub to excess to clean it. The sex of your baby, especially if it is a little girl, is still covered with a thin white protective layer a few weeks after delivery, and too strong gestures could deteriorate it.

No wipes
For cleaning, use water and a physiological pH soap (neutral for the skin) with cotton or a washcloth. The wipes are rather disadvised during the first months, because they contain products too aggressive for the skin of baby and can cause irritation and dryness, especially in girls.

Stop forced off
Practice previously recommended, the early capping is nowadays very disadvised. If the foreskin of your baby is still glued to the glans, do not worry, it's absolutely normal and it concerns more than 9 out of 10 boys at birth. This new way of approaching the toilet of the small baby should reassure you. It will be enough to gently clean the sex of your child by removing any stuck residue and ensuring that his skin is dry, to avoid any risk of infection. If necessary add a little talc!

From front to back
Finally, just as for you mumIt is better to move from front to back of the seat to limit the transmission of bacteria from the stool to your baby's lips. These are sometimes very bulky or a little stuck after birth, no worries there too, it's perfectly normal.
