Coloring: how to maintain your tie and dye?

That's it, you jumped. You went to your hairdresser and asked for one of the main trends of this spring-summer 2013: the tie and dye. Result: you are proud and happy with your hair while contrast, light and fresh. You would like to keep this effect as long as possible. To help you, GirlsFromMainStreet.com has interviewed Denis Do 'Amaral, hairdresser ID. L'Oréal Professionnel, who gives us some tips today to keep his tie and dye, the longest time possible.

1. Specialized shampoo
Step one: buy specialized products, tailored to your needs hair colored. Consider indeed your tie and dye like a coloring Traditional. So stock up on shampoos made with pigment coloring. Ideal for maintaining the shine and color of your hair. Same for conditioners and masks. The other products could indeed weaken your hair or tarnish your tie and dye.

2. A visit to the hairdresser
The must, of course: return to your hairdresser every 5 to 6 weeks, to keep the shine of your tie and dye, or change slightly nuance. Denis Do 'Amaral advises a DiaRichesse, made in L'Oréal Professionnel, to play on the shade of your tie and dye, or maintain the one you already have.

3. Lightening products

It is also possible to use lightening products, such as summer sprays, offered by many brands, to lighten the hair blond. However, be careful with this method, which may dry out your hair. A technique that will be perfect, in the short term, for an immediate sunny effect, but much less, in the long term.
