Corton-Charlemagne, white wine of Burgundy.

Wine Region : Burgundy - Beaune Coast
Registered designation of origin: Corton-Charlemagne
Only three communes are entitled to this name (all in Côte-d'Or): Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergelesses. And again, not in their entirety! The white wines must also display more than 12% alcohol and must must not contain more than 187 grams of sugar per liter. This wine is therefore rare and highly regulated.

We recommend the Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru by Philippe Pacalet, produced in Beaune:
A White wine pure and powerful with legendary aromatic qualities. On the nose, a great terroir expresses itself. Pure and fleshy, a bold taste raises the final. Time reveals its many nuances: fruity and floral in its early years, it offers after a long guard flavors of dried fruits and white flowers. Its persistence is truly impressive.
Vintage to privilege: The vintage 2003 is currently on sale, but it is too young ... it is a wine of guard.
Indicated price : 150? about
The good agreement: Fish with flesh, white meat, with elaborate preparation. Mushrooms of all kinds (morels and truffles in particular). Ripened cheese.
