How does one succeed in reconciling professional life and mother's life when one is an actress?
It's a real headache. When you're an actress, you do not have a fixed schedule. I work, on average, three months at the beginning of the year and three months at the end of the year. It is not always easy to organize. But I'm very lucky, I'm well surrounded. My spouse is taking Josephine, my girl 8 years old, at school every morning. And my mother will pick her up at night. I have a super-mom!
What are the most important values in your eyes?
Openness to the world and the taste of work. These are values that my parents instilled in me. My parents are Italian and Spanish immigrants. For them, the notion of work is essential. They gave me the taste to learn. I made music, dance, theater. So, I'm trying to open my girl to the world around him. With Josephine, we talk a lot. We are very complicit. She has a lot of humor. We spend our time making jokes.
Do you ever feel guilty?
Yes, like all moms. Sometimes I come back tired in the evening. I try to take on myself, but it's not always easy. My girl sometimes throws me: "MumI prefer when you do not work. "When I do not turn, I spend a maximum of time with Josephine.
Have you ever been overwhelmed by events?
Yes. It's human. I was told that the mum perfect did not exist, that we were always zero, that there would be a day when my girl would say to me, "You make me soul." I'm doing my best. I'm not trying to be perfect ...
Does your daughter have an artist's soul?
Yes, with a mum and a dad comedians, it can not be otherwise ... I think it is badly barred (Laughter). She will do what she wants, but as mum I would be more reassured if she became a surgeon or doctor. The acting profession is so ungrateful and unfair. Getting a role depends on so few things ...
Have you already started preparing for the new school year?
No. For now, we prepare the holidays. I am separated from Josephine's dad. So, we have 15 days each. With my companion and Josephine, we will go on vacation with friends. The preparations for the start, we'll see at the last moment. That does not bother me at all. Especially since I'm lucky to have a girl good student.
