Look of the day: Pharrell Williams, street hipster in Los Angeles

Pharrell Williams is a man of taste. From a musical point of view first. There are countless successful collaborations with artists who, like him, are among the most talented of their generation (Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, etc.). But also from a fashion point of view. As much in his clips as for his multiple appearances on red carpet, the musician-businessman always displays a mix of preppy and urban codes.

Recently, Pharrell Williams even created the buzz with one of his looks. Or rather with one of his accessories. At the Grammy Awards ceremony in late January 2014, the singer went on stage with the Daft Punk. Pretty small, fine features, the man had opted, as a headgear for a brown hat XXL signed Vivienne Westwood. The photos had gone around the web. Everyone was wondering where this hat came from. Monday, February 10, 2014, as he lands on the red carpet at the pre-Oscars lunch in Los Angeles, Pharrell Williams persists and signs. He opts for the same hat but in a dark gray version. A gray that he associates with the rest of his outfit. For the occasion, the American had opted for a mouse gray vest in the middle and under which he had donned a green check shirt. Dark jeans a little big and a pair of custom basketball completed this outfit mixing hipster and urban style.

On the singer's head, just posed, sat majestically the famous hat signed Vivienne Westwood. Pharrell Williams, new fashion icon? We say yes.
