The advice of the pediatrician

Breastfeeding is one of the best precautions against childhood obesity. In general, the food the child receives during pregnancy and the first year of life is of great importance.

- Prevention comes first and foremost by families: it is about showing the example, through a healthy diet and regular activity.

- The child's diet is divided into three meals and a snack a day.

- A minimum of activity is essential: a child must move often, and if possible, walk at least thirty minutes each day.

- The time spent in front of the screens (TV, console, computer ...) must be limited, and equal to the time spent in physical activities!

- To proscribe absolutely: nibbling and sweet drinks!
