Tips for pretty feet: pedicure, scrub, nail polish

A homemade pedicure

Before starting your homemade pedicure, be sure to carefully remove your nail polish with a solvent, preferably without acetone, softer for our nails. Then plunge your feet in a relaxing foot bath. This little moment of absolute relaxation helps fight against fatigue but also soften the skin, which facilitates future steps of the pedicure.
In a basin of warm water, bath salts, effervescent pebbles with relaxing virtues or a few drops of essential oils are added. You do not have it on hand? A handful of coarse salt and a few slices of lemon can do the trick. After dipping for 5 to 10 minutes, perform a scrub on feet always wet to remove dead skin.
If you have calluses, use a pumice stone on these specific areas but avoid giving in to the rasp call. Often too stripping, its use is counterproductive because, feeling aggrieved, your feet will then produce more dead skin and calluses. After rinsing and thoroughly wiping your feet, cut your nails squared to avoid ingrown toenails. Finally, finish the treatment by massaging your feet with a moisturizer specific, much more nourishing.

To take care of your nail polish

Because our toes are not exposed as much as our hands, we often tend to bend his nail polish on the feet while we apply like a pro on the hands. Yet our feet deserve our full consideration. As for our mimines, we always start our nail polish application of a base. This protects our nails from varnish pigments and prevents them from yellowing.
If you have damaged nails, choose a care base: fortifying, anti-streaks, there are all kinds. Then lay two coats of varnish, thin enough not to make pies. You can choose a glamorous red for a femme fatale look, a flashy shade for a more fun result, black or deep blue for a fashion effect or a French manicure for a natural finish.
Finally, finish with the application of a top coat: this transparent varnish will prolong the life of the varnish and boost its shine. And now, your feet are all beautiful new!
