Beauty look of the day: Jessie J dares the wig!
"I love it" declared Jessie J, on his Twitter account, January 9th. The singer was referring here to her new haircut, made in the day. It was a short square cut, reaching the chin, and embellished with a mini ultra-degraded fringe. Strange, you tell me ... The star having, in March 2013, shaved his head in order to raise funds for a charity: Red Nose Day. Since then hair had slightly pushed back. And Jessie J Wore, a week ago, a short haircut. It seems that she was tired of such a look, and she decided to use artifices for a little change. It is doubtful that the hair of Jessie J pushed back, in two nights. Everything suggests that she chose to wear a wig. Wig she proudly showed, the same evening, on the red carpet of the 2014 Brit Awards in London. What to think of this metamorphosis?
The short and smooth square was, for a long time, the hallmark of Jessie J. Nothing surprising or shocking, to see the singer with such a cut. To note all the same: its hair no longer reach the shoulders but at the level of his jaw. A length that is not disturbing and it goes pretty well. What is problematic in our eyes is this fringe XXS and degraded, which does not really showcase his face. His old bangs, long and straight, were more appreciable. Even if, we admit it, we prefer the beauty with the clear forehead. The latter is lucky enough to have fine features, a flawless complexion and pretty eyebrows. It's a shame to hide its assets behind a thick curtain, or even small hair.
Coloring, Jessie J abandoned the platinum blonde, adopted a few days after his shaved head. The singer had since recovered her eternal brown, brilliant. Color she wished preserved, with a wig, too, brown. This is a good thing. We like more Jessie J with its hair brown, or even natural (and therefore chestnut), with a platinum hair, really too much.
In summary, this news haircut, although artificial, receives a mixed opinion from us. We love the length and style, but the bangs bother us. We love the color, but the "fake" aspect is still too present. We are waiting to see if the star will keep, or not, this wig.
