Chef Cyril Lignac opens a second pastry shop: where will he stop?

He popularized this kind of programs on television (Miam, Top Chef, The Chef in France ...) but he does not forget his job: cooking and especially the pastry. This is the sin of this cute businessman from Rodez who, with a CAP pastry in his pocket, landed in Paris at the age of 23.
Since then, this gourmand has come a long way and opens today his 2th pastry, located in the 16th district of Paris. In this chic neighborhood, the Michelin-starred chef offers a selection of pastries, from classics such as flan to Vanilla bourbon, chouquettes, cakes and cookies, and new creations such as pie blueberries / blackcurrant or Opera. The prices are reasonable, they vary from 3 to 5 euros.
This is his sidekick, the pastry chef Benoît Couvrand, who makes the cakes in their laboratory located on the ground floor of the establishment. This former from Fauchon realizes daily dozens of desserts based on seasonal products and works on original delicacies such as chocolate and milk chocolate / coconut.
An entrepreneurial soul
Many months of work were needed to transform an old Banette bakery into an elegant place. The new pastry of Cyril Lignac, located near the Trocadero, is added to that located in the 11th Paris district, opened in November 2011. Cyril Lignac does not lack ideas or will.
