David Bowie: an exclusive t-shirt created by Paul Smith
After 10 years of absence, the famous singer David Bowie released at the beginning of the week its highly anticipated thirtieth album entitled "The Next Day". An opus composed of 14 tracks more rock than ever that already hits Itunes. To celebrate this important event, the British house Paul Smith has just unveiled a special "The Next Day" t-shirt available since March 7th. Indeed "David Bowie has worn a lot of Paul Smith during his career and I was delighted when he asked me if I wanted to make the official T-shirt for his album The Next Day. There will also be some other surprises later in the year"Said the creator of the brand.
Made of organic cotton and embellished with a signature ' Paul Smith for David Bowie ', the illustration was designed by Jonathan Barnbrook, who took over the cover of Bowie's album "Heroes" released in 1977. The photo was immortalized by photographer Masayoshi Sukita who is a friend of the British designer Paul Smith.
