Eat balanced at the restaurant

When you know that a good lunch is waiting for you, have a healthy breakfast. This will save you from getting to the hungry restaurant and cracking up on the richest dishes.

The entrance
Opt for an entree based on crudités and ask for seasoning separately. You can better dose the amount you want to put.
Avoid cold cuts, chicken terrines and other rich dishes.
If you fall for crustaceans, forget about the mayonnaise that goes with it and for oysters ask for a vinegar-shallot sauce.

The dish
Prefer meat or grilled fish and it goes without saying that you will skip the french fries. Cooked vegetables are preferred, but you can still take some starchy foods like steamed potatoes or rice.
A little bread is allowed if your meal is not composed of any starch, but especially do not spread butter while waiting for your dish!

Cheese
The best is not to take or to limit yourself to a small portion if you are able.

Dessert
Here again you will have to be reasonable. We forget the beautiful strawberry pie or the mille-feuilles that you eye on the neighbor's table, to prefer a fruit salad, a compote, a sorbet or a cheese White.
For the more voluntarists, zap the dessert and finish with a coffee, unsweetened.

The alcohol
Limit yourself to one or two glasses of wine during the meal. Drink in small sips so as not to empty your glass too quickly and fill it up before you even have the time to say no. Still or sparkling water at will.
