Fashion flop of the day: Beyoncé and her mosaic ensemble in New York
Beyoncé is the queen of the charts. Unchallengeable, indestructible, unequaled. And his style of dress is in his image: singular. On stage, in the city, or on the red carpet, Beyoncé is the queen of both sexy and classy outfits. The kind of outfits that look great but could be vulgar if worn by someone else.
Dresses lamé, dresses shiny, leather ensemble, bodysuit, high-waisted panties ... All that fashion counts daring and sexy outfits was worn by Beyoncé. And in general it is sublime in it. However, no one is immune from error! Not even Queen Bee. During her visit to New York on December 21, 2013 to present her latest surprise album, the young woman had opted for a mosaic-like ensemble that, unfortunately, did not honor her beauty or her style. Ultra-molded in a dress very short, with long sleeves, the singer seemed to be squeezed. Is it because the mosaic pattern too coarse for curves as luscious and feminine as hers? Or is it the fault of this species of high neck that seems to lock the body of the former Destiny's Child in a rigid straitjacket? Beyoncé did not seem at ease in this dress, at once too vulgar and too oppressive.
What is more, Beyoncé has committed the irreparable by associating with this mini-dress of leggings mosaic with open ends that weighed down the whole. We would have preferred low boots for a more rock look or a pair of pumps for more elegance.
If this outfit has the merit of showing once again that the plastic of Queen Bee is perfect, it is however to put in the category "flop mode". Too tight, too vulgar, too short.
