First name boy: Can parents call their baby Daemon?
You will probably be of my opinion, choosing a first name girl or a first name boy is important. Parents should not choose it on a whim or a fad. Why I insist on choosing a first name ! Because the parents of a baby, now three weeks old, want to call him Daemon, but the Civil Registry has vetoed and sued the court after claiming that first name was deemed "contrary to the interests of the child". This first name boy, of English origin, is indeed the translation of the Latin "demon".
The parents of baby, who are called Blandine and Lionel (from first names traditional), do not bother. It's their choice! And why do they want to call their newborn Daemon? Because the mom was inspired by the fantastic series Vampire Diaries, one of whose heroes is called DAMON. As you can see, the first name of the hero played by Ian Somerhalder is written DAMON and not DAEMON.
