I tested: the good points of the Brazilian manicure

In true vernista, the arrival of a new technique of manicure could not leave me insensible. After the Brazilian smoothing who has quickly conquered the hair of the French, what is this new beauty secret that makes so much talk and seems to win all votes? In fact, this manicure of a new kind imported from Brazil has been developed because the rules of hygiene are very strict. Thus, the use of basins is prohibited in beauty salons. It was necessary to imagine a new technique of alternative manicure, without water. We put on gloves that are filled with a special cream whose formula combines seven active ingredients: keratin (which boosts the growth of the nail and makes it stronger), witch hazel (soothing), tea tree (antiseptic), allantoin (healing), calcium (to nourish the nails) or an emollient to soften the cuticles. This cocktail of shock allows to hydrate perfectly the hands but also to cure the cuticles and to reinforce the nail.

In Brazil, the manicure is then followed by a pose of nail polish a bit peculiar. While our manicures to us redraw the nail and brushing the edges, there, we overflow with joy on the skin so that the nail is completely covered, before cleaning the surplus with solvent.

I had to see that with my own eyes. I therefore have an appointment at the BeNow Institute. This express beauty counter of a new kind allows to take advantage of a vast range of beauty services (from the cut to the hairstyle while passing by the make-up) and practices just this manicure, the creator of the place having been convinced by its effectiveness after a trip to Brazil. First of all, I explain the process of care by introducing myself to my pair of plastic gloves, for single use, of course. It is accompanied by a mini lime and a boxwood stick, for single use as well.

I put on my gloves soaked in moisturizer that I will keep for most of the care. The manicure then spreads the product inside the glove evenly through a small massage. It focuses particularly on the cuticles so that the care penetrates well. I stay a few minutes and then the manicure cut the ends of the gloves to release the end of my fingers.

After removing the nail polish, nail work can begin. The Brazilian manicure focuses especially on cuticles that are cut and not just repulsed. Because Brazilian women do not like cuticles and want clean and clear nails. The nails themselves are scraped and not only polished to have a smooth surface. I am a little disconcerted at first but it takes what it takes to have the hands of Gisele Bundchen (for lack of having her body). Once the nail is neatly cleaned and cleaned, the tip of each finger goes back into the plastic glove.

Keeping your hands in the glove for the duration of the manicure allows you to enjoy a long moisturizing mask. When I finally remove the gloves, I can see all the benefits of the technique. My hands tugging because of the intense cold of the last days are finally calmed and especially perfectly hydrated. They will remain so during the following days.

Finally, the treatment ends with the pose of nail polish. At BeNow, we adapted the Brazilian manicure to the French, the institute remains faithful to the laying of conventional varnish, without overflow. It is true that a manicure that puts you nail polish everywhere on the cuticles and the skin, it's a bit scary when you're not familiar with the technique. There, I leave with impeccable nails without going through the cleaning box of misfires. And if I want, I can even buy my pair of gloves to redo my Brazilian manicure at home. And considering the effectiveness of the treatment, I look forward to the arrival of the Brazilian pedicure to display beautiful feet this summer!
