I was a young warthog ... A Thoiry!
The Zoo's family Thoiry has grown. And it's a first in France! Triplets warthogs pointed the tip of their muzzle on March 9th.
Why wait so long to announce it? Quite simply, so that "Ponkolo", "Niokolo", and "Miokolo" take some strength before being presented to the public .... As soon as the beautiful days arrive, they will join Daddy "Renate" and Mom "Pumba" and will share their pen with 3 elephants Africa ...
And that too, it's a first! As Viscount de la Panousse asserts, the founder of Park, Thoiry is the only one Park animal world to have achieved the feat of coexisting, as in nature, warthogs and elephants on the same territory.
