"My Blueberry Nights" by Wong Kar-wai

In this initiatory road movie, Elizabeth (Norah Jones) undergoes a whiff of sentimental rupture. She decides to travel around America. Chaining the jobs of waitress, she will discover a gallery of characters in search of themselves.

My Blueberry Nights signs the American jazz singer's film debut Norah Jones. Wong Kar-wai entrusted him with the task of replying to experienced figures of the 7th art such as Rachel Weisz, Natalie Portman, Jude Law or David Strathairn.
In addition to the choice to shoot in the United States, the feature film marks a deep break with the previous works of Wong Kar-wai. Accustomed to write his own scripts, the filmmaker has enlisted the services of American crime fiction author Lawrence Block. He has also switched from Christopher Doyle (In the Mood for Love, 2046) to Darius Khondji (Delicatessen, The Ninth Gate).

My Blueberry Nights was presented at the 60th Cannes Film Festival in May 2007 in the official selection.
