A sales representative, Chris Gardner finds himself on the street overnight with his seven-year-old son, Christopher. He then bases all his hopes on a trader internship in a brokerage firm, giving himself fully without being paid. The film is based on the autobiography, published in 2006 by Chris Gardner, who went through a lot of trouble before making his fortune by founding his own brokerage firm. A hit in the United States, Gabriele Muccino's film stars Will Smith and his son Jaden.
