The 5 benefits of soy sauce

Compared to other sauces that are fatter or sweeter, the soya sauce it's doing pretty well nutritionally. Made from fermented soybeans, there are different varieties in different countries, from Chinese "jiangyou" to Japanese "shoyu". 5 good reasons to adopt it:

She is light. With 62 calories per 100 grams of soya sauce, she's doing pretty well: it's three times less than the average sauces and salty condiments (203 calories). And it's more than ten times inferior to mayonnaise.

She is very digestible. Used in a broth, for example, it can stimulate the secretion of gastric juices. This is particularly the case in shoyu ramen, Japanese noodle soup with soy broth. Less fat than a cube broth and good for the stomach!

It is rich in probiotics, which help strengthen the intestinal flora, and better assimilate nutrients, and antioxidants, which help protect the heart and its vessels.

It contains vitamins, including vitamin B3, which increases the level of good cholesterol.

She has an appetizing color. A few drops of soya sauce effectively color pies, quiches and other dishes, in which it can even replace salt.

Be careful though, do not forget that the soya sauce is very salty and do not have too heavy hand when seasoning!
