Valentine's day special: Fauchon and his bold box
Our chocolatier Made in France has planned a party of lovers very naughty. On this occasion, Fauchon collaborates with Pascal Caffet, artisan chocolatier and patissier (elected Meilleur Ouvrier de France) to offer us a box of chocolates a crazy originality. The case is called Collection 69 in anticipation of a rather cuddly evening. The fuchsia packaging catches the eye and once we open the box we discover chocolates marked with a "6" or a "9". The idea was to make two chocolates different able to give a perfect match in the mouth.
Number 6 is full-bodied with a bitter ganache. Its taste is exceptional thanks to its powerful aromas that leave a certain length of taste in the mouth.
The number 9 is crisp, it is a praline with lace crepe. A strong taste of hazelnut Piedmont takes over before giving way to the finesse of chocolate with milk.
A third chocolate brings a touch of shock to the other two, it is a purple raspberry ganache. A perfect combination of two fruits that bring on one side the acidity needed with raspberry and the delicacy so coveted by the violet.
