What to replace the cream in the kitchen?

Fresh cream is a dairy product that is often not easily supported by many adults, so sometimes you have to be creative to learn how to cook with other products. Vegetable creams can overcome this problem. Here are some ideas for cooking without liquid cream.

Soy cream: its appearance perfectly resembles traditional cream, its taste is also approaching, but not exactly the same. The taste of soy is still present when cooking this cream in dishes cold. Once heated, we feel a little less this plant aspect. We can use soy cream in the preparation of our quiches or sauces, for example.
Cream of rice : This ingredient is delicious in sweet recipes. Cream of rice is made from a powder of rice that we find in organic shop generally. This powder looks like flour, once it is mixed with milk or water, its appearance resembles that of fresh cream.
Oat cream: it comes in the form of powder resembling complete flour. Here again, mix the flour and the milk with a whisk on a small fire, until its texture thickens. Its appearance makes us think of a bechamel, add salt and nutmeg so that its taste approaches.
The milk thickened with cornflour or flour: this formula is also based on a dairy product. The advantage of this trick is its low calorie intake, it is lower compared to the cream. We must thicken the milk on a small fire with a whip. The taste of this cream is nevertheless a little bland.
Agar agar with milk and butter: it is a colorless and odorless Asian seaweed. It is in the form of transparent sticks or powder. Agar agar is mixed with a little milk and a little butter so that the consistency turns into cream. It will replace fresh cream in many dishes.
It is impossible to make a cream chantilly successful with another ingredient than fresh cream.
