Almond, an ally for your weight

An ally in weight loss
The kernel is often considered, wrongly, as a food too energetic. It has been proven that its consumption does not lead to weight. Easy and pleasant to eat, it helps reduce the consumption of other foods and dispels the feeling of hunger (28 grams of almonds = 160 calories). Better to nibble a handful of almonds than pretzels!
Be careful, almonds are not devoid of fatty substances, but it seems that our body does not absorb all the calories from them. To eat them whole, and therefore not to grind them completely, allows the lipids not to be totally assimilated by the body. Hence the interest of these during the diet.

An ally for the heart
A handful of 28 grams of almonds (about 23 almonds) is an excellent source of magnesium and antioxidant vitamin E. You also find fiber, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and iron. Also know that they are very rich in protein, they provide 19 g per 100 g, almost as much as meat.
It is thanks to all its components that the almond now appears as a valuable asset for our health. It would help to protect us from cardiovascular diseases by reducing bad cholesterol (LDL), the excess accumulates in the arteries and mouth.
