Ingredients for 4 persons)
500 g of meat of beef cut into slices (fondue type)
600 g ofonions cut into small pieces
1 small pinch of glutamate (optional)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Nuoc Mam
1 large teaspoon of blend 7 flavors (cumin, coriander, licorice, pepper flower, anise, fruit peel, cinnamon)
Pepper
2 tomatoes
Oil (sunflower preferably)
To return onions in the oil and let them melt.
Preparation
Add the beef and make it seize. Add pepper and a small pinch of glutamate, then 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 4 of Nuoc Mam. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and incorporate them to make a little juice (we can also add half a glass of water).
Simmer on a low heat for about ten minutes, then add the spices. Stir well and let simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Rectify, if necessary, seasoning with a little Nuoc Mam.
Serve with a fragrant white rice.
