Chocolate and jewelery:

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Maison Boucheron has teamed up with Maison du Chocolate for the realization of a single piece. The result of this collaboration resulted in a snake necklace in chocolate, iconic figure of the famous luxury jeweler. The latter is "enhanced by a fancy browny yellow heart cut diamond specially crafted to weigh 20.08 carats in tribute to 2008" the press release said, but will only be sold in Japan.

This Snake in chocolate will be unveiled exclusively in Tokyo, on March 14, on the occasion of the White Day (note: in Japan, on Valentine's Day, it is the girls who offer chocolates people of the opposite sex that they like, and the day of the White Day, it is the turn of the boys). It will go on sale from March 14 to 16 at the Boucheron shop in Ginza, for about $ 1 million (more than 680,000 euros).

For the occasion, the House of Chocolate created a box of chocolates evoking the jeweler's codes, consisting of a chocolate heart shaped diamond and twelve assorted ganaches. It will go on sale as of March 1 in the shops La Maison du Chocolate in Japan, priced at 4,900 yen (about 31 euros).
