After the contamination of at least one employee by the virus of the influenza A and the appearance of two suspected cases among the maternal assistants, the mayor of the city François Bernardini decided to close the nursery "The Pitchounets" today and for a period of seven days. During this period, staff members and children are invited to stay at home.

For the time being, none of the twenty children would have contracted virus H1N1. The city however recommends to parents "careful monitoring and not waiting to have their child examined in case of flu-like symptoms".
