For or against the heating blender?

The heating blender has advantages
Above all, it combines in one device multiple features, such as being able to directly cook the products in the blender before mixing them in the same bowl. Compared to a food processor, it is still necessary to cut them by hand before placing them in it.
What do we do with it, exactly?
We can prepare soups, creams, creams or purées, but also compotes, smoothies, milkshakes and in general, everything you do with a traditional blender. The added value is in an engine that allows you to cook and heat your preparations, not just mix them. Some even offer a function of keeping warm and cooking steam.
Choosing the right model is essential
Acquiring a heating blender is a great idea if you choose your model very well and put the necessary budget. The first prices have indeed several inconveniences noted, such as a smell of plastic cooking or weak and therefore fragile engines.
Which criteria of choice for a heating blender?
A powerful engine (both in terms of engine power and heating power), a stainless steel or glass bowl (because the plastic can contain dangerous substances), at least 5 speeds available and a base that adheres well to the surface of the worktop. Of course, the requirements are lowered if you plan to use little, but in this case the purchase of a heating blender may not be your ideal solution.
The heating blender is therefore a very good option if you have the use, but also the budget.
