On June 2 on our screens, the next installment of Sex and the City is already controversial. Indeed, many fans, seeing some stolen film shots taken out of context, have decided not to follow Carrie Bradshaw - and especially the stylist Patricia Field - in his clothing experiments, considered too eccentric.
Yet who better than she, a New York icon, and knowledgeable moderator, could afford so much fantasy? If a stylist had recommended the duo blazer / tutu dancer ten years ago, you would have believed? No. You would have called him a "heretic," a grotesque.
And yet, worn by Carrie, you took a good lesson in style! In GirlsFromMainStreet.com, we are an unconditional fan of Carrie and her gang. And we would be happy to relook "for life" by Patricia Field, the it-stylist of the stars. But until that happens, we go on a shopping trip, and we accompany Carrie to Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Manolo Blahnik.
