Kate Moss dark muse of the new Alexander McQueen advertising campaign

Kate Moss is the new muse of the House Alexander McQueen. The brand has, indeed, chosen to embody its advertising campaign spring-summer 2014. A very dark campaign where we hardly recognize the twig. For the occasion, the beauty has adopted a cut to the boy and is found complexion in platinum blonde. She wears a gladiator-like outfit.

The brand, under the artistic direction of Sarah Burton has called on Steven Klein to carry out its advertising campaign. The photographer was inspired by a 1960s British thriller, Peeping Tom, tells Vogue UK. In this film, a serial killer kills women and uses his camera to record his crime scenes and the facial expressions of his victims. It is not surprising that this advertising campaign appears very dark. Vogue UK posted on its website a video of the advertising campaign. We find a Kate Moss, particularly anxious, in the sight of a serial killer. His gaming partner is not a handsome male, but a doll of her miniature who wears exactly the same outfit and haircut.

This collaboration does not seem very surprising since Kate Moss has always been very close to the fashion designer, who died in 2010. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar which she had made the cover, the top tells to have taken time to identify this complex character. "He empowered women, leaving them fragile and vulnerable at the same time, people said he was misogynist, but I realized that in fact he was giving power to women and not the other way around. "she said. "There was a lot of tension, but we had the best laughs," she said, "He was a very good friend, there will never be anyone like him, I miss him terribly."
