The Kooples, the history of the brand

Created in 2008 by Alexandre, Laurent and Raphaƫl Elicha, this young French brand continues to grow. Their father Tony Elicha is the creator of Comptoir des cotonniers. The two brands come together elsewhere on their concept and a keen sense of marketing. Comptoir des cotonniers is based on mother-daughter couples while The Kooples is for couples.
The brand offers a British style, vintage and rock'n'roll. The emblem of the house, a skull. But behind the rock side, The Kooples also focuses on quality and makes his clothes to Savile Row, specialist in the high-end tailor. The two favorite colors are black and gray. The first idea is to be able to share the clothes with her boyfriend. The collections are mixed with the same cuts, colors, blazons ...
Slogans support the spirit of the brand with "A Cloakroom for Two" and "Until Death Separates".
Before it opened on the market in 2008, the brand undertakes a major advertising campaign in magazines and on television. From the opening of shops in Paris and in the provinces, fashionistas fall in love, The Kooples makes a cardboard. The machine is launched.
The company is developing perfectly in France, with more than 60 shops shared between Paris, Lyon, Marseilles, Strasbourg, Aix en Province, Deauville ... The brand is also developing in Spain and England. The Elicha brothers have the ambition to see things big. They intend to export to the whole world.
