Where Chefs Eat: The bible of the best restaurants in the world

It's not the Gault Millau or the Michelin Guide but it could look like it. The book Where Chefs Eat was born from an original idea; ask starred chefs to give their heart stroke. The book Where Chefs Eat required a year of work and has over 700 pages for about 2000 addresses collected. Because the chiefs questioned took the game. A total of 400 cooks responded to the questionnaire sent by Joe Warwick, an English journalist, author of the book.

International stars (Frenchman Daniel Boulud, Danish René Redzepi, American Daniel Patterson) and young budding cooks make us discover the addresses of the moment. Where to have breakfast in London? Answer Wolseley. The pizzeria where everyone is in a hurry? At Roberta's in Brooklyn. Or what is the gastronomic bistrot in sight in Paris? The Chateaubriand de Inaki Aizpitarte in the 11th borough. The leaders unveil the restaurants that they attend regularly or when they go on vacation.

Author Joe Warwick is not his first try. This food critic collaborates with The Times and The Guardian. He was one of the first to be interested in molecular cooking and to have dedicated the Catalan establishment of Ferran Adrià, El Bulli, elected the best table in the world, but dethroned this year by the brothers Roca and El Celler de Can Roca, located in Girona, Spain.
In short, this beautiful book, the design of telephone directory of the 50s, is priced at 19.95 ?.

Somewhat bulky, it is very convenient for traveling. We prefer the application for iPhone and iPad that should not delay. Without counting on the French translation.
