Bernard Lavilliers returns with a new album on January 21st

Three years after his last opus, Logbooks, which has sold more than 450,000 copies, Bernard Lavilliers get out his new album studio, Saturday evening in Beirut, January 21, 2008.
In his new opus, Bernard Lavilliers stay true to his habits. He invites his listeners to a musical journey that draws its sources in the soul of Tenessee to return to France, passing by the African shores.
In Logbookshe had already proposed a stroll with Occitan accents, from Brazil to Cape Verde and Jamaica.
Saturday evening in Beirut must come out in two versions, a "standard" edition and a "collector". The collector's edition will take the form of a large-format disk-book (a square of 17 cm2). This record book will include a bonus CD and DVD. The DVD will contain the film Kingston, Memphis, Paris, a video with a duration of 21 minutes on the recording of Saturday evening in Beirut, and two bonus tracks in audio track. The collector's version will also include a 56-page booklet enriched with photos, illustrations, unpublished paintings and song texts.
Both editions of Saturday evening in Beirut will contain "opendisc" access, a link giving access to the official website of Bernard Lavilliers as well as exclusive content.
For his new album, Bernard Lavilliers renews itself in soul. In Saturday evening in Beirut, the singer is surrounded by big names like the excellent Willie Mitchell on brass and strings. Jehro also participates in two titles.
Tryo's musicians are also invited to Bernard Lavilliers. They participate in a bonus title available in both editions of thealbum.
Finally, on the collector version only, Bernard Lavilliers is engaged in an exclusive duet with Raul Paz.
After the release of Saturday evening in Beirut, Bernard Lavilliers will tour all over France, from February 26 to June 20, 2008. He will perform at the Zénith de Paris on March 13, 14, and 15, 2008.
