Crozes Hermitage, red wine from the Rhône Valley

Wine region: Rhône Valley - North
Designation of origin: Crozes Hermitage
This terroir is heterogeneous. In succession of terraces of granitic type in the North, it is in the form of plain in the South. The climate is Mediterranean, but humid and cooled by the Mistral.

We recommend the Crozes Hermitage "Clos des Grives" by Laurent Combier, produced in Pont de l'Isère:
Solid and seriously constructed wine, well balanced, of good length. Nose very ample, with an aromatic framework mature and present; tasty mouth, extremely concentrated, well spiced.
Vintage to privilege: 2003, though still very young ... let it age five to ten years
Indicated price : 25? about
The good agreement: Red meats (with a preference for lamb) grilled or roasted. Well-ripened cooked cheese.
