Flat belly: our anti bloating tips

Why do I have swollen belly?

You are stressed, nervous ... Or you have eaten too fast! The causes of a bloated belly are many, but there are mostly foods that promote fermentation and release of gas in the intestines. Better to adopt diet limited in starch and sugar like starchy foods, as well as raw vegetables and pulses. And of course chew well and the mouth tightly closed to ingest as little air as possible!

Our advice for a flat stomach

No way to remove the vegetables from your foodbut prefer them cooked. Ditto for dairy products, better not to abuse because some are difficult to digest and stimulate bloating. Some yogurts are however good for your intestinal flora, provided you do not consume more than two per day.

Other tips: drink plenty of water, preferably without meals, and stop chewing gum that promotes aerophagy ...

Avoid also aerobic drinks: their bubbles distend the walls of the stomach because they encumber the digestive tract. Bloating guaranteed!

Some foods that ferment in the digestive tract are to be limited: onions, cabbage, bread, prunes, figs, apple juice ... So avoid if you are prone to swollen belly.

Tip: If you can not remove the pulses (beans), soak them in the water for several hours before cooking them, this will reduce bloating.

Flat stomach food

Yes, there is! This is because they have a very low fermentation rate that you can consume: for vegetables, throw on artichokes, fennel, avocado, lettuce, asparagus. As for the fruits, you can eat strawberries, papayas, raspberry, cherry, right, pineapple, kixi, melon.

Red meat, poultry and eggs (no more than two eggs in the week if pssible), are not harmful to you either. And finally, if you like starchy foods, choose quinoa, rice, rye and bulgur. To give flavor to your dishes and to avoid swelling, aromatics are your friends thinness : corandre, dill cinnamon, cumin! In the form of herbal teas too, in addition the hot water will have a very pleasant detox effect.
