I'm learning how to cook sweet potato

White, yellow, orange or purple, there are several varieties of Sweet potatoes. For more vitamins, trace elements and color, I choose the Yam orange or purple. The advantage of Yam on our traditional potato is that you do not need to peel it. No more chores of potatoes, they are simply peeled with a knife, they are brushed a little and they are ready.

With its sweet and slightly sweet taste, it is the assured trip to the West Indies. Or else, let's just cook roasted pancakes. Sweet potatoesthey are pressed with a cloth to remove the excess juice and mixed with egg, flour and some spices. The pancakes are browned in the pan and ready to eat. But if you fancy a small West Indian meal, cut the tubers into cubes before cooking them with baby onions and pieces of squash in coconut milk. You add a small clove, cinnamon, pepper and salt.
