Premières Côtes de Blaye, red wine from the Bordeaux region

Wine Region : Bordeaux
Registered designation of origin: Premières Côtes de Blaye
These wines must come from the blend of at least two grape varieties. For reds, the choice is made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cot. For whites, at least Sémillon, Sauvignon or Muscadelle are required, to which may be added (up to 30% maximum) white Merlot, Colombard or Ugni blanc.

We recommend the Jewels of Queyroux, Château Le Queyroux, produced by Dominique Léandre-Chevalier in Anglade:
Her dress, dense, has purple reflections. Its nose, very concentrated in black fruits, is enhanced with floral and spicy notes. His mouth is greedy, round and full, framed by a very elegant woody notes brioche.
Vintage to privilege: 2001. He is still young, wait a few years.
Indicated price : 35? about.
The good agreement: Like all powerful reds, it expresses itself fully with red and tasty meats.
