A little exercise preserves the memory

A little practice practiced regularly would help to combat memory problems. This was shown by a study conducted by Australian researchers this month. Seniors are the first concerned.

Candidates in the study who practiced physical activity medium intensity showed better brain abilities than those who did not. the results were evaluated after six to twelve months.

And for that, a few hours a week are enough. The 138 people aged 50 and over suffered from mild memory problems. The researchers asked half of them to walk 2h20 a week on a device. The other half had to undergo standard treatment for memory loss for 24 weeks.

In addition to the best brain abilities observed, the researchers found that thephysical activity had positive consequences for depression, quality of life, falls, and cardiovascular function in those tested. A hope against the problems of memory that await us!
