Well-being: shiatsu massage

The massage shiatsu is a manual therapy from Japan that uses hands to put pressure on the main meridians of acupuncture.
Shiatsu, which means "finger pressure"uses the energy of the body and it can also be practiced with the palms, knees, elbows, thumbs ... The masseur will use all his weight to press and press the areas of the body ...

Shiatsu will rebalance energy throughout the body, so that some parts do not contain to the detriment of others.
Shiatsu practitioners are all united by the same belief : a vital force called the Qi which crosses the whole body through channels connected to each other by the meridians. Each meridian is associated with a physical function.
 
Shiatsu massage uses two techniques main ones: pressure and stretching. The shiatsu technique is not very different from the others massage.
Shiatsu massage is used as a preventive measure : It protects against certain diseases, it cures stress and restores the inner balance.


During the session, no need to undress, it is practiced over your clothes, lying on a carpet or sitting on a chair.
Shiatsu is as good for the mind as the body. It provides relaxation and welfare. It also improves muscle flexibility, promotes sleep and restores tone to people with chronic fatigue.
 
Our advice
Shiatsu is a discipline that obeys very specific rules. The practitioner must be recognized by the French federation of traditional shiatsu.
